Chip Vac Styles
Five styles are available:
The standard Chip Vac is good for general purpose chip cleanup and transfer. It includes the Chip Vac vacuum, lever lock drum lid, auto-safety shutoff valve, filter bag, 10' (3m) of flexible vacuum hose at 1-1/2" (38mm) I.D., chip wand, two extension wands, crevice tool, brush and skimmer.
Deluxe Chip Vac System improves on the Chip Vac by adding features that make it easier to use for everyday tasks. It includes everything that comes with the Chip Vac and adds a drum dolly and a tool holder. All are sized to fit your closed head drum (30, 55 or 110 gallons).
The Premium Chip Vac System upgrades your Chip Vac system all the way by adding a 30, 55 or 110 gallon drum to the Deluxe Chip Vac System. The Chip Vac's standard tools are replaced with heavy duty aluminum tools and the standard vacuum hose is replaced with a 10' (3m) static resistant hose. To make sure you can get your new Chip Vac where it needs to go, 20' (6.1m) of compressed air hose with quick connects fittings is also included.
The 5 Gallon Mini Chip Vac has the same features as the Chip Vac but is sized to work with a 5 gallon drum. The Mini Chip Vac System includes the Chip Vac vacuum, a 5 gallon drum with lid and locking ring, 10' (3m) of 1-1/2" (38mm) I.D. flexible vacuum hose, aluminum chip wand, two extension wands, crevice tool, brush and skimmer tool.
The 5 Gallon Deluxe Chip Vac makes the 5 Gallon Mini Chip Vac easier to use in multiple locations by adding a drum dolly.

How EXAIR's Chip Vac Works | |
Compressed air, normally 80-100 PSlG (5.5 - 6.9 BAR), flows through the inlet (1) into an annular plenum chamber (2). It is then injected into the throat through directed nozzles (3). These jets of air create a vacuum at the intake (4) which draws material in, accelerates it through the unit (5), and directs it to the bottom of the drum. The airflow exhausts through the port in the drum lid. Airborne particles are trapped by the filter bag (6). | |
