Cooling Robotic Arm
Company performs robotic service and repairs. Their customer’s pick and place robot is being used to unload a part from a hot die. The robotic arm is being subjected to heat which is causing premature failures.
A Model 120022 2" (51mm) Super Air Amplifier was installed to blow air into a protective sleeve around the arm. With the air cooling, the temperature of the arm got only a couple of degrees warmer than ambient, eliminating failures and downtime.
